Hinge, also known as hinge, is a mechanical device used to connect two solids and allow relative rotation between them. In short, hinge is the connector between door panel and cabinet, and a movable joint. Generally, it is installed on doors and windows, wardrobe doors, and cabinet doors. It has the function of smoothly opening and closing cabinet doors and bearing weight.
Hinges can be divided into two categories according to their functions: visible hinges and concealed hinges.
Advantages: convenient disassembly; strong bearing capacity, not easy to deform and crack, cabinet door is not easy to sag; large opening angle, 180 degrees.
Disadvantages: poor destructive resistance compared to concealed hinges; not as beautiful as concealed hinges.
Typical applications: HVAC systems and industrial generators, server cabinets.
Advantages: Concealed hinges are invisible to the eye and more beautiful; good destructive resistance, installation and disassembly require disassembly from the inside of the door panel.
Disadvantages: Limited opening angle, a few have 180 degrees, generally 90 degrees; bearing capacity is not as good as open hinges.
Typical applications: metal cabinets, machine covers, outer boxes, mechanical covers.
